What is Discover?
Discover is a section inside Ledger Wallet that gives users access to selected Web3 applications. Ledger’s developer documentation refers to applications integrated into this environment as Live Apps.
What is a Live App?
A Live App is a third-party application designed to run within the Ledger Wallet environment and communicate with a supported Ledger signer through Ledger integration tools. Availability can differ between desktop and mobile.
How to approach a Live App safely
Open Discover from the official Ledger Wallet application
Start inside the verified desktop or mobile application rather than from an unsolicited external link.
Review the app and requested action
Understand what the app does before connecting an account or preparing a transaction.
Verify on the hardware device
When a signing request is sent to the Ledger device, check what the hardware screen shows before approving it.
Discover versus an external browser wallet
Discover is integrated into Ledger Wallet. A browser-wallet connection uses a separate third-party interface. Both can interact with a Ledger hardware signer when supported, but the connection path and compatibility requirements are different.
