Ledger Wallet and Ledger Live: what changed?

Ledger Wallet™ is the current name of the application previously known as Ledger Live™. You may still see “Ledger Live” in older tutorials, searches or screenshots.

Use the official applicationFor installation or updates, go directly to Ledger’s official website or the official app store listing. This website does not host installers, APK files or browser extensions.

Safe connection basics

A hardware wallet should authorize actions on the physical device. Keep these checks in mind before connecting it to any computer, phone or browser wallet.

Verify on the device

Read addresses and transaction details on the hardware screen before confirming an action.

Keep recovery words offline

A normal desktop, mobile or Web3 connection does not require you to type your Secret Recovery Phrase into a website.

Use official download sources

Install Ledger Wallet only from Ledger’s official download page or verified mobile app-store listing.
